EE&ME Cathodic Protection Air Rectifiers are designed for ease of operation and maintenance. These single or three phase units are equipped with heavy duty industrial meters on the instrument panel display, surge and lighting protections, complete with circuit breaker and IP protection from IP21 to IP65 with sunshade.
Integrated electronic systems provides the option for automatic, constant current, multiple circuits all in one singular case. High reverse voltage silicon rectifying are employed for long term reliability. Units are designed with extra heavy duty transformer and sufficient overrating to ensure extended trouble free operation. Stepless variable transformer, thyristor, switch mode, tap switches are also available in these type of rectifier. Units are available in many DC output power ratings. Heavy gauge aluminium cubicles are used for light weight units.

Oil Cooled Rectifiers
EE&ME Oil Cathodic Protection Rectifiers are designed for harsh conditions including high levels of dust, saline, corrosive, abrasive, excess moisture or high electrical discharge environments. These conditions would reduce the operating lifespan of the normal units. However, EE&ME Oil Rectifiers have been installed in these environments such as oil tank farms, jetties, oil platform, pipeline, refineries, etc are still in operation this day.
Types of control include tap switches, links, variable transformer, thyristors or switch mode. Automatic with manual override is standard and scada/transducers signals are optional. Aluminium and Stainless Steel Tanks are available as required and sunshades are standard. Unit ingress protection are designed up to IPW66 and operating ambient temperatures up to 50ºC..
